The "5 Technical Etudes for the EWI" are based on the first five studies from “28 Etudes pour saxophone – sur les modes a transpositions limitées d’Olivier Messiaen” by Guy Lacour.

I have not copied these etudes “one-to-one” but I have attempted to expand and recompose the etudes to take advantage of the amazing range of the EWI.
