Karen Edwards & Band
The jazz singer Karen Edwards, born in South Carolina, came into contact with gospel music in an early youth through her father "Director of Music" at the local Baptist Church. After a classical piano training and music studies at the University of Northe Texas, her career took her to Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta. She worked with numerous artists such as Tony Bennet and Stevie Wonder and, after being appointed as a singing teacher at the Richard Strauss Conservatory, settled in Munich.
